Faux chipboard letters

Today, I thought I would share something different: a... WAIT FOR IT... tutorial!!
You may have read about this already but I decided to share in case someone stumbled across my blog not knowing this technique... (YES, it can happen! :p).
In the last LO I shared, I had decided to create my own title using my Big Shot and the "Man, Oh, Man" sizzix alpha. Problem is, even if I have done this a few time, I always feel like it lacks dimension... So, I thought: why not use those cereal boxes I hoard and create some faux chipboard!!!
Step 1 - Take your Big Shot (YES, that IS a step!!) and a cereal box
Step 2 - Choose your alpha and cut out the letters you need in cardboard (here, my cereal box... Well, my fiancé eats the cereal and I use the box...)
Step 3 - Repeat step 2 as many times as required (in this particular example, I cut out the letters 3 times in the cardboard).
Step 4 - Cut the same letters in the desired PP (in this example, I chose one of my "Life of the Party" papers by BG)
Step 5 - Glue the cardboard and PP pieces together... Apply a good amount of glue since you want the whole thing to stick together! I don't know about you, but I always manage to put glue on the top layer... but in this case, I don't care since it's going to be covered with a next layer (well, careful with the PP though).
Step 6 - For a glossy finish, apply a coat of glossy accent...
Et voilà ...
