I really hope that you had a wonderful christmas, full of joy, laughters and love... (and presents, who am I kidding?).

I haven't been posting in a while... I hadn't any motivation to scrap either... Weirdly enough, I wanted to scrap but I had no motivation... Tired maybe, I don't know!

Today, I am sharing a LO I made for the Shimelle's Nov. class over at 2Peas. Since she posts on the 30th of each month, it is still November!

I really love her work, so I'm really happy to be able to include 11 pics in my LO... I really need to do that for my brother's wedding so...

Anyway, here is my take:

A quick post tonight for a quick LO I made! But before I start, I wanted to thank you for your wishes, I do feel better (I still have that cold but I won't let it get me down soooo, back in the scraproom!).

I used a sketch from "Sketchy Thursdays" and I felt quite inspired! I hope I can still enter the challenge, but that's not even sure ahah!



Anyway, I used pictures of my cherished niece... all dressed up for my brother's wedding last year!

I am pretty happy with the result because, for once, I managed to shake things up a little!

Wow, the orange letters are not that stark/bold in real life lol.

Man, poor colours, aren't they?! But since I've been working, it seems I'm never home during daylight! But worry not, I do look through the window sometimes at work!! (There is a HUGE building in front of mine, but I can see some sky... Plus, I like to look out and see what the people in front of us do!)

Oh... and... isn't her dress GORGEOUS??? My fiancé brought it back from Canada when he came to France for the wedding (I say "he" because I left Canada before him to see my family and help out...).

Wait a sec, Gaston the kitty cat wants to climb! Oh well, away he is gone!!

So, back to our usual categories:

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS LO

* The huge roses. Some people might say it's an easy way to embellish a page, but I find them quite hard to place right! I think it's the first time I manage to put them right in the middle of a LO. I was getting desperate because my "sheets" of chipboard are nearly full!

* You can't see it much but I did some REAL sewing with my mini cutie sewing machine... it's NOT straight AT all but everything can't be perfect the first time! And I'm sure it will be fun to remember in a few years.

* The fact that I didn't follow the LO to the letter... It's hard for me to step out of my comfort zone!

* Oh, and it's the first time I FINALLY use the border sheet from this collection! I always use the B side!

Hello everyone,

How is your week going? Mine is alright... I went to work, came home and did some cleaning up so, nothing fabulous!

I want to share a card I created for this week CAS-ual Fridays. It's really fun 'cause we get to play Tic Tac Toe!!


So, I chose "Scallops", "Kraft" and "Aqua".

Before I show you my card, I want to remind you of a LO I created some time ago! It was (and probably still is) my favorite... It showcased my beautiful badass niece with her scratched knee!

The reason why I wanted you to remember it is because I took inspiration from the scrapbook page to create today card!

So, there you go!




WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT

* I like the fact I used stickers for the sentiment. Even if there are big, I think it works well!
* I am really about it because it's the first time I manage to translate a LO into a card... And I love it! It's bright and colourful... You may notice that I changed border punches to adapt the border to the size of the card.

Today, I am sharing a LO I created for Shimelle Laine's sketch of the week.

I used BG Life of the party paper, together with Echo Park (Dots and Stripes collection) and AC stickers. I blinged it up and there you go.

I must say that I am pretty happy with the result. For once, I managed to cluster it pretty well :p

So, here it is... Excuse the poor quality of the picture but, even if I took it during the day, the light was sooo bad. Anyway, there you go:

I am feeling good tonight because I managed to spend a few hours (with Gaston the kitty cat) in my scrapping room! I created one LO and three cards... Not much really but considering what I've been able to create lately, it's a lot!

Today, I want to share the card I made for Mojo Monday #217

I chose the square version, and here is my take:

I used Crayola glitter glue to give a little shine and a little texture to his hat! I used watercolor pencils for the whole image

Decided to stamp the sentiment inside. After all, why not?

STASH USED

* Well, I bought a huge pack of AC ribbon, so I'm happy to be using it!
* I have had that WeRMM floss for a while, so, same thing!

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PROJECT

* I bought those stamps to colour a bit... I didn't know if I would like it, but I do! Plus, those watercolour pencils are really easy to use!
* BASIC GREY paper of courrrrrrrrrrrse!!!
