Hello everyone,
How have you been? I hope well! In our house, it's been a nice week end :)
I got some time to scrap today, but I think I will take pictures of the LO tomorrow, the lighting is WAY TOO bad tonight.
In the meantime, since I haven't shared in quite a while (AGAIN), I decided to share a card I made for a friend of mine some time ago.
I was inspired by one of Kristina W.'s wonderful cards, but used my own stash to create it (and that feels good as well!).
So, here it is:
*I used a kraft card base and used a post-it note as a mask;
*I stamped the background with Jenni Bowlin's "Brown Sugar" ink;
*I cut four square out of the "Dots and Stripes" collection by Echo Park;
*I cut out four hearts that I put on foam squares;
*I put Glossy Accent on three of them and Stickles in Xmas red on the last one;
*I cut out part of the top layer and put some red cardstock on the right (I had previously used a EK Success border punch on it);
*I stuck one of the stickers of the same Dots and Stripes collection.
Cards are not my forte, but I was not displeased with the result, even if I know there is room for improvement.
STASH USED
* The "Dots and Stripes" collection
* The heart punch
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS PROJECT
* The glitter :D
* Kraft in general!
* It made my friend happy
TFL and have a wonderful week!
