Hello ladies,
I'll tell you without shame (or just with a little shame) that I did a massive haul on Sunday! Heaps of yummy goodies I fell in love with or have been dying to have for a while! Just because I love you all, I'll make a brief list (I would be too ashamed to take pics):
* Jenni Bowlin paint dabbers
* Maya Mists
* On the Edge die by Tim Holtz
* Spellbinders dies (the classical scalloped circle dies and sprockers)
* "A Boy's Life", the new collection by Echo Park
* Some ribbon
* The "Hooray" stamp set by Hero Arts
* Two Amy Tangerine fabric paper sheets
*Some Amy Tan's goodies
* A few sheets of small alphas (among others, a sheet with multiple colours by Lilly Bee Design)
* I'll stop here... Shame is coming up! But I'll let you know when using the products :p
Anyway, I got home, looked at my goodies for a while, and started a LO with the EP collection! And man do I love it (the collection and the result). I haven't been scrapping my lovely nephew in a while because I was feeling like I didn't have the right paper... And well, PROBLEM SOLVED!
For this LO, I started with a sketch by "Creative Scrappers" (#192)
So, here is it:
And, of course, a few close-ups

Don't know why the legends wouldn't work properly, so I'll make the comments here!

RépondreSupprimerIt is so much fun to come home with loads of new stash and have time to play with it all! Great choices and a wonderful page!
RépondreSupprimerAwesome layout! I love the colored clouds. How fun to come home with new stuff. Using the stash is important, but it's also good to get new stuff too! :)
RépondreSupprimerWow! Your layout is wonderful! I don't think it has to mimic the original sketch (sketches are just a spring board to me) You really captured the fun in the photo! And what a haul you made. I'm waiting on an order to come in, but I did not buy one single paper...I will have to remedy that since I love the papers you used!!
RépondreSupprimerlove your take on the sketch and i love the clouds you added! great job!!!
RépondreSupprimerI just got that paper this weekend too and I really like what you did with it!
RépondreSupprimerLove the colors against the dark background! And the gears add such a fun element to the page.
RépondreSupprimerI love gears! Especially since I have a boy. I like your style of scrapbooking. I'm getting some great ideas from you. Thanks for sharing!
